This is a little note to the fine person in China who scared the ever living shit out of me by reading my Blog for about an hour this afternoon.
I can't quite describe the feeling of checking my sitemeter and seeing that little red flag with the yellow star. Needless to say I consider myself extremely lucky that my britches have remained unsoiled.
In a panic I contacted a friend (Johnny, why be secretive at this point?) at work who was kind enough to remind me:
- Government officials aren't reading blogs at 4:00a dumbshit.
So thanks for stopping by. I really hope I haven't written anything you've found offensive and umm, as long as you're not Government, stop by any time.
Thank you, Management
Upon further inspection I discovered my new friend is from Hong Kong. Hong Kong good. Hong Kong means Stephanie not ska-ruuuuude!
Hey! I just noticed that "Tired of the bullshit" picture on the right. Who put that there?!
Maybe a travelling adoptive parent is doing a little blog stalking due to jet lag. This morning I checked my stats (which I seldom do) and I had a hit from Tehran and another from Bombay and one from Sweden. Hmmm...maybe there is an international blog stalking ring out there that we don't know about.

Wow! Typepad is way high tech! Very cool that you can track all that stuff. I'm impressed!
Oh, BTW, I have a double passthrough router linked to a hostel in Hong Kong.
Yeah, right.

Oh i'll bet Sparky is totally right, its an adoptive parent in a HK hotel who's blog surfing. If i ever get to china, i'll totally be checking my blogs if i have a moment, i.e. late at night or when littleone is sleeping. maybe the hong kong stalker will fess up after seeing your post and put your mind at ease...!

Is it rude that I think it's hysterical that you got so freaked that you called Johnny at work?

First, I want to say that I never used the word "dumbshit" in my reply.
Second, please imagine my hands fingers together like Mr. Burns on "The Simpsons".
Then, imagine Mr. Burns' raspy voice:
"Excellent. Li Peng did well in Hong Kong. Stephanie got her freak up. Excellent. Tomorrow it will be Shi Feng in Guangzhou. Excellent."

That happened to me too and it freaked me out.. That's why I use a nick name for my older daughter.
By the way, I tagged you. Go to my blog for details.

I used to have someone from Hong Kong that would stop by and read me occassionally but haven't seen that flag in a long time.
